Job Summary

The Financial Advisor is responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the monthly financial requirements of assigned real estate projects. The role focuses on preparing site-wise budgets, forecasting cash flow, advising management on spending priorities, ensuring optimal utilization of funds, and maintaining financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial plans and budgets for each real estate project/site.
• Analyze project cash flow requirements and ensure funds are available when needed.
• Advise management on where, when, and how project funds should be allocated.
• Recommend spending priorities based on project milestones and business objectives.
• Monitor actual expenses against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
• Review expenditures related to:
• Labour costs
• Marketing and sales activities
• Legal and statutory approvals
• Administrative and operational expenses
• Provide recommendations on cost optimization without affecting project quality or timelines.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, engineering, sales, and accounts teams to align financial planning with project progress.
• Assess financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support management in strategic financial decision-making for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Required Qualifications
• CA - Incomplete or discontinued also welcomed
• MBA (Finance), CA, CMA, or CFA is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or project finance, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
