Job Description
Job SummaryThe Assistant Manager – HR is responsible for supporting and managing day-to-day human resource operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, HR compliance, training, and policy implementation. The role ensures effective workforce management and contributes to achieving organizational goals through strategic HR practices.
- Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent AcquisitionManage end-to-end recruitment processes for various positions.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate candidate selection.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Maintain recruitment databases and employee records.
- Employee RelationsAddress employee concerns and grievances professionally.
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee turnover trends.
- Performance ManagementSupport performance appraisal processes and employee evaluations.
- Assist managers in setting performance goals and development plans.
- Monitor employee performance and recommend improvement measures.
- Payroll & Benefits AdministrationCoordinate monthly payroll processing with the finance department.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and overtime.
- Administer employee benefits, insurance, and compensation programs.
- Training & DevelopmentIdentify training needs across departments.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
- HR Compliance & AdministrationEnsure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS reports, and workforce analytics.
- Assist in policy development and implementation.
- Manpower PlanningMonitor workforce requirements and staffing levels.
- Support organizational restructuring and workforce planning initiatives.
- Coordinate with management regarding manpower budgets and resource allocation.
- Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- MBA in Human Resources preferred.
- Professional HR certifications will be an added advantage.
- Experience3–4 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
- Experience in the real estate industry is preferred.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in HRMS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
