Job Description
Job Title: Field Technician – Elevator/Lift Maintenance
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Field Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair elevators/lifts at customer sites.
The candidate should ensure smooth operation, safety compliance, and timely service support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of elevators/lifts.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Attend breakdown calls and resolve issues within the assigned timeline.
- Conduct lift installation, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain service records, maintenance reports, and job completion documents.
- Coordinate with customers regarding service schedules and maintenance activities.
- Identify spare parts requirements and report major repair needs.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used and maintained properly.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in elevator/lift installation or maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, motors, control panels, and safety systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
