Logistics Executive

Core Responsibilities

• Shipment Coordination: Planning, scheduling, and tracking inbound and outbound shipments (freight/carriers) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory levels, overseeing warehouse storage, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Documentation & Compliance: Preparing shipping documents (bills of lading, invoices) and complying with safety regulations, hazardous material rules, and ISO standards.
• Vendor Management: Negotiating rates and managing relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Process Improvement: Analyzing logistics data to identify bottlenecks and reduce transportation or warehousing costs.
• Problem-Solving: Resolving issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or customer complaints.

Quote Generation:

Create detailed technical and commercial quotations, including product pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.

• Profitability Management: Calculate costs and ensure quotes meet company margin requirements.

Sales Generation:

Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities with builders, contractors, architects, and retail customers.

Customer Service:

Attend to walk-in customers in showrooms and visit construction sites to understand requirements.

Product Expertise:

Explain tile features, advantages, and benefits, providing technical advice on materials.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and clients.

Sales Operations: Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and manage orders.
