Job Description
Job Title: PLC ENGINEER
Department: Electrical / Automation
Location: Kattupakkam, Poonamallee
Reports To: Plant Head
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop PLC programs based on project requirements
2. Design and implement HMI/SCADA interfaces
3. Perform testing, debugging, and validation of automation systems
4. Commission PLC systems at site locations
5. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
6. Read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics
7. Integrate PLC with sensors, drives, and other field devices
8. Coordinate with internal teams (production, sales, and support)
9. Maintain proper documentation of programs and systems
10. Provide technical support and training to end-users
11. Coordinate with internal teams and clients for smooth execution
Key Skills & Competencies
1. Strong knowledge of electrical circuits / Experience in PLC programming
2. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
3. Understanding of communication protocols
4. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
5. Ability to read electrical schematics
Qualifications
1. Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics
2. 5–8 years of experience in Electrical / PLC Programming / Related manufacturing industries are preferred.
3. Salary will be provided as per norms.
