Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of construction materials, hardware, electrical, plumbing, and site-related items.
• Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, and vendors for material requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material delivery to sites.
• Track pending orders and follow up with suppliers.
• Ensure quality and quantity compliance of purchased materials.
• Maintain vendor databases, rate comparisons, and purchase reports.
• Support cost control initiatives and budget monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement within civil construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/purchase management systems.
• Ability to handle multiple vendors and projects efficiently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in residential or commercial construction projects.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
