Job Description
Job OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic, target-driven, and persuasive Telecaller to join our insurance agency recruitment team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective insurance agents, explaining the entrepreneurial and financial benefits of joining LIC.
Your primary goal is to generate leads, schedule interviews, and build a robust pipeline of candidates interested in becoming LIC agents (Financial Advisors).
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Calling: Make outbound calls to potential candidates (leads, job seekers, and referrals) to introduce the career opportunity of becoming an LIC Agent.
- Pitch & Present: Clearly communicate the benefits of an LIC agency, such as attractive commission structures, flexible working hours, and independence.
- Lead Qualification: Ask qualifying questions to assess the candidate's interest, background, and suitability for the insurance industry.
- Meeting Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule recruitment meetings, seminars, and information sessions for prospective candidates with the agency's development officers.
- Follow-ups: Conduct regular follow-up calls with prospects to nurture leads and overcome hesitations.
- Data Management: Accurately update and maintain candidate details, call logs, and feedback in the CRM or database system.
- Query Resolution: Address basic questions regarding agency requirements, training, and the onboarding process.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, or customer support (experience in insurance or financial services is a strong plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively (proficiency in regional languages is highly desirable).
- Resilience: A positive attitude and the ability to handle rejection while staying motivated.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with maintaining records.
