Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Customer Service: Welcoming guests, presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering questions about ingredients or preparation.
  • Order Taking & Delivery: Recording orders accurately (via POS system or notepad), delivering food/drinks, and checking on tables to ensure satisfaction.
  • Menu Knowledge & Upselling: Recommending appetizers, beverages, or desserts to increase check totals.
  • Table Maintenance: Setting tables, cleaning surfaces, and clearing dirty dishes (pre-bussing).
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhering to food safety/hygiene standards and managing alcohol service responsibly.
  • Payment Processing: Delivering checks, handling cash/card transactions, and processing payments accurately.
