Job Description
- ob ResponsibilitiesRemediate PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents for accessibility compliance
- Create and validate accessible tags, reading order, bookmarks, tables, and alt text
- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2, PDF/UA, ADA, and Section 508 standards
- Perform accessibility testing using screen readers and accessibility tools
- Conduct quality checks and resolve remediation issues
- Generate detailed and meaningful alt text for images, charts, graphs, and tables
- Work with production and QC teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain productivity and quality targets
- Prepare accessibility reports and validation documentation
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Good understanding of document formatting and structure
- Strong attention to detail
- Good typing and communication skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Willingness to learn accessibility standards and remediation workflows
- Preferred SkillsExperience in PDF accessibility remediation
- Knowledge of WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and PDF/UA
- Familiarity with PAC, CommonLook, JAWS, NVDA, or Acrobat Accessibility tools
- Experience in publishing or e-learning projects
- Knowledge of assistive technologies is an added advantage
