Assistant Production Manager

Roles and Responsibilities 

• To achieve the production target as per the schedule given .
• To take complete control of production planning and achieving the target of the plant.
• Maintain the quality systems implemented in the plant as per IATF 16949.
• To focus on reducing internal rejections.
• To ensure zero customer complaints by monitoring the in process as per SOP. Planning the necessary resources like manpower , coordinating with Plant head and HR for the recruitment.
• Training the entire work force.
• Planning and coordinating with purchase and stores to maintain the necessary minimum stock of RM,chemicals, packing materials etc to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Maintain discipline and culture inside the plant.
• Prepare and send MIS to the management on a regular / fixed frequency.
• OEE monitoring. Improve productivity of the plant.
• Maintain 5s in the plant.
• Analytical capability to identify the failure in production, quality to achieve the target.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of machines and tools in coordinating with the respective departments.
• Daily monitoring and conduct Daily work management to arrest the gap in the target vs actual in PQCDSM.
• Process validation knowledge .
• 8d approach to address customer and plant issues.
• Implementing Kaizens. Exposure in SAP is a must.
• Ensure installed Poka yokes are in place.
• Ensure safety of the plant employees and machineries,fixtures and gauges, Thorough knowledge in spray painting and screen printing, assembly line.
• Should know the MSDS of the chemicals.
• Should know the painting and printing process including degreasing and oven curing. 
• Cost reduction ability. Should handle basic measuring instruments.
• Very good team player and should motivate the team to achieve the goals set by the management.

Key Skills 

• Complete knowledge in the painting process and assembly line.
• Working knowledge in SAP 
• IATF 16949 knowledge
• Self starter - Good team player. 
• Complete control of production activities of the plant.
• From a tier 1 auto component manufacturing industry.
