Audit Manager

The Senior Audit Associate is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing audit assignments while managing client relationships and leading audit teams. The role ensures compliance with applicable laws, accounting standards, and professional guidelines.

• Audit & Assurance Plan and manage statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and GST audits
• Review financial statements in accordance with:
• Accounting Standards (AS) / Ind AS
• Standards on Auditing (SA)
• Finalize audit assignments and ensure timely completion
• Identify risk areas and design audit procedures
• Ensure compliance with:
• Income Tax Act
• GST laws
• Companies Act, 2013
• Lead and supervise audit teams (articles and assistants)
• Allocate work and monitor progress of assignments
• Review audit working papers and documentation
• Train and mentor junior staff
• Client Handling Act as a primary point of contact for clients
• Handle client queries and provide practical solutions
• Ensure smooth coordination for data collection and audit completion
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Review and finalize:
• Audit reports
• Financial statements
• Tax audit reports
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trail
• Assist partners in certification work and advisory assignments
• Assist in due diligence, stock audits, and special assignments
• Keep updated with changes in laws and regulations
• Support in business development and client onboarding
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of:
• Accounting standards (AS / Ind AS)
• Auditing standards (SA)
• Direct & Indirect taxation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and client-handling skills
• Proficiency in:
• MS Excel (advanced preferred)
• Tally / accounting software
• Tax Filing Software
• Qualifications B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter or Final/CA

Experience minimum of 3 years of experience in a CA firm or audit practice
