Banquet Waiter

Job Summary:

A Banquet Waiter is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service during events, functions, and banquets, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet halls as per event requirements (tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, glassware, etc.)
• Assist in buffet and à la carte service during events
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner
• Ensure timely and efficient service throughout the event
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the banquet area
• Follow service standards and sequence of service
• Coordinate with kitchen and other departments for smooth operations
• Handle guest requests and complaints politely
• Clear tables and reset for next service
• Ensure proper handling of equipment and minimize breakage

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of food & beverage service
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• Positive attitude and customer-focused approach
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Physically fit (as the role involves standing for long hours)

Qualification:

• Minimum: 10th / 12th pass
• Diploma or certification in Hotel Management (preferred)

Experience:

• Freshers or 0–2 years of experience in F&B Service / Banquets
