Job Overview: We are looking for a Fleet Operations Executive to manage and oversee daily bus operations at our Poonamallee base. The role involves handling intercity bus services, ensuring smooth operations, vehicle availability, crew coordination, and maintaining service quality.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of intercity bus services
• Ensure timely departure and arrival of buses (schedule adherence)
• Coordinate with drivers, cleaners, and ground staff
• Monitor vehicle availability, breakdowns, and downtime
• Handle trip planning, route coordination, and deployment
• Ensure cleanliness, basic maintenance, and readiness of buses
• Coordinate with maintenance team for repairs and servicing
• Track fuel usage, basic reporting, and operational MIS
• Handle on-ground issues, delays, and escalation management
• Ensure compliance with permits, documents, and regulatory norms
• Requirements2–4 years experience in fleet operations (Bus / Cab / Logistics preferred)
• Experience in handling intercity or fixed-route operations is a strong advantage
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage drivers and ground staff
• Basic knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance
• Comfortable with Excel / basic reporting
• Willing to work in rotational shifts / extended hours if required
• Preferred CandidatePrior experience with bus operators, aggregators, or transport companies
