Job Description
Logistics Business Development Executive – Requirements
Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or supply chain sales.
- Experience in generating leads and acquiring new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities in air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing.
- Visit customers and build long-term business relationships.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate rates.
- Coordinate with operations teams for smooth shipment handling.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain customer records and prepare sales reports.
Skills Required:
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms.
- Understanding of freight rates, CFS charges, customs clearance, and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
- Ability to travel for customer visits.
