Job Description
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras (IP and Analog), NVRs, DVRs, and related accessories.
- Perform cable laying, termination, labeling, and testing for CCTV systems.
- Configure network settings, IP addresses, port forwarding, and remote viewing.
- Install and configure switches, routers, PoE switches, and fiber connectivity where required.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in cameras, NVRs/DVRs, storage devices, power supplies, and network equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of surveillance systems.
- Upgrade firmware and software on CCTV devices as required.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, ISPs, and OEM support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain installation reports, service reports, asset records, and maintenance logs.
- Follow company safety procedures while working at heights and handling electrical equipment.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of IP and Analog CCTV systems.
- Experience with NVR/DVR configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with VMS software and remote monitoring systems.
- Basic computer skills and report preparation.
- QualificationsDiploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, Networking, or a related field.
- CCTV certification is an added advantage.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
- Experience1 –3 years for Technician.
- 3–5 years for Senior CCTV Technician.
