Job Description
Key Responsibilities of a Site Engineer
1 Site Supervision - To monitor daily construction activities and to ensure work progress as per plan
2 Execution as per Drawings - To ensure daily construction activities follow approved drawings, specifications and standards
3 Quality Control - To check quality of materials, workmanship and overall site work.
4 Measurement & Billing - To take measurements at site, prepare BOQ and assist in sub-contractor billing
5 Material Management - To manage material requirements, stock inventory and material purchasing
6 Coordination - To co-ordinate with contractors, labours, consultants and clients for smooth workflow
7 Safety Compliance - To ensure safety measures in place and identify potential hazards
8 Documentation - To maintain daily progress reports, checklists, test reports and site records
9 Problem Solving on Site - To resolve technical issues and make necessary decisions
10 Ensuring Progress as per Schedule - To keep work on track to meet timeline and deadlines
