Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. The engineer also develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed cloud environments, ensuring that infrastructure and platform setups are optimized for operational success. Collaboration with various teams to align deployment strategies and troubleshoot integration challenges is a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of cloud infrastructure strategies to support business objectives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing systems.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure design principles and best practices.
- Experience with deploying and managing scalable cloud environments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and performance optimization in cloud platforms.
- Ability to develop and validate architectural proofs of concept for cloud solutions.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues across cloud and on-premises systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Architecture.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
