CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Operator with at least 1 year of hands-on experience. The candidate should be capable of independently handling machine setups, interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate cutting tools, and ensuring precision through the use of measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines for toolroom jobs
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
• Perform job setting, including workpiece clamping, alignment, and zero setting
• Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters based on material and job requirements
• Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges
• Make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection reports
• Ensure machine cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC milling operations
• Good knowledge of machine setup and job setting procedures
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tool selection, and basic machining parameters
• Basic understanding of CNC programs (G-code knowledge is an added advantage)
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
