Summary:
As a Commercial Operator, a typical day involves overseeing the planning and management of commercial deliverables associated with client accounts. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and standardizing processes to reduce project costs throughout the duration of contracts. The position requires close collaboration with commercial and account leadership to support the execution of the commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals. The role demands continuous monitoring and adjustment of workflows to maintain smooth contract operations and deliver value to all stakeholders involved.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure timely delivery of commercial objectives.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align project goals and resolve conflicts.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering professional development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in A&D Aftermarket.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Commercial Aerospace.
- Strong analytical skills to assess commercial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external clients.
- Familiarity with process standardization and cost reduction methodologies within commercial operations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in A&D Aftermarket.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
