Senior Smartsheet & Power BI Developer
The Senior Smartsheet & Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-wide Smartsheet solutions and Power BI analytics platforms to automate workflows, improve collaboration, enhance project/program management, and deliver actionable business insights. This role focuses on building executive-grade dashboards and reports, integrating Smartsheet with Power BI, and enabling data-driven decision-making through advanced reporting, automation, and system integrations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Smartsheet Solution Development & Automation
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Smartsheet solutions utilizing Sheets, Workspaces, Reports, Forms, Dashboards, Dynamic Views, WorkApps, Pivot App, Functions, and Advanced Formulas.
Create automated workflows for approvals, notifications, reminders, status updates, and data validations using Smartsheet Automation.
Develop cross-sheet references and rollup solutions to consolidate project, program, and portfolio data into centralized views.
Build and optimize enterprise-wide project tracking, resource management, governance, and operational reporting solutions.
Configure Dynamic Views and WorkApps to deliver role-based access and personalized user experiences.
Design and implement governance standards, templates, and best practices for Smartsheet adoption.
Power BI Development & Analytics
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for executive leadership and business stakeholders.
Develop complex data models, DAX measures, KPIs, scorecards, and drill-through analytics using Power BI.
Create executive-level visualizations for project health, resource utilization, financial metrics, operational performance, and program governance.
Develop and optimize Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reporting frameworks for enterprise-scale analytics.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace governance, and data refresh strategies.
Smartsheet – Power BI Integration
Integrate Smartsheet data with Power BI using native connectors, APIs, dataflows, and ETL pipelines.
Design automated data ingestion processes to combine Smartsheet data with enterprise systems such as SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, Salesforce, and other business applications.
Build consolidated reporting solutions that provide a single source of truth across multiple business functions.
Develop data transformation and cleansing processes using Power Query, Power BI Dataflows, and ETL tools.
Integrations & Technical Enablement
Develop integrations using Smartsheet REST APIs, webhooks, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and middleware platforms.
Connect Smartsheet with Microsoft ecosystem tools including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Outlook, and Excel.
Support implementation of third-party connectors and integrations with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, and other operational systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize dashboard performance, data refreshes, data models, and workflow automations.

Maintain technical documentation, governance standards, and solution architecture artifacts
Shift B Support: Availability to provide support until 11 AM PST.
Return to Office: Mandatory 5-day RTO from 4 strategic office locations. (Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Bangalore).
