Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands a proactive approach to managing tasks, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the application solutions meet the project requirements and timelines. The engineer is expected to navigate complex challenges and provide clear guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, fostering collaboration and driving project success.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by following best practices and standards.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing technical guidance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PO/PI & APIs Development.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and middleware technologies related to SAP Process Orchestration and Process Integration.
- Experience in designing and implementing API-led connectivity solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues effectively.
- Familiarity with XML, XSLT, and related transformation techniques used in SAP integration scenarios.
- Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and SOAP protocols.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP PO/PI & APIs Development.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
