Job Purpose: Program Manager - Strategic Projects is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic initiatives that align with the CEO's vision for the dredging company. This role involves managing cross-functional project teams, ensuring that strategic projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Strategic Project Leadership:

Develop and oversee the execution of strategic project plans that align with the CEO's vision and the company's long-term objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes, fostering collaboration and effective resource allocation.

 

Project Management:

Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to completion, ensuring that all strategic projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Utilize project management methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and implement changes as necessary.

 

Stakeholder Coordination:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes effectively, ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed and met.

 

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all strategic projects comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies, maintaining a focus on environmental stewardship and safety. Implement and monitor compliance and governance frameworks to uphold the highest standards of project execution.

 

Resource Management:

Optimize allocation of budget, personnel, and equipment to maximize project efficiency. Monitor and manage project resources to ensure adherence to budget and timelines.

 

Performance Monitoring:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track project progress. Regularly assess project performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.

 

Change Management:

Lead change management efforts associated with project implementation. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and facilitate smooth transitions

 

Team Development:

Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success..

Digital mindset:

Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Educational Qualification:
