- Design and create electrical layouts, MV/LV schematics, and specifications in alignment with project requirements and engineering standards
- Select appropriate materials, electrical components, cable sizes, and systems based on design specifications, codes, and project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards (such as IEC, NEC, or local codes).
- Review and interpret Electrical Diagrams and Schematics to integrate electrical systems within the overall process design
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Request for Quotations (RFQs) for electrical system required for project tenders

- Perform calculations to determine optimal power distribution and load balancing across electrical systems. Analyzing cable voltage drops, fault currents, Transformer, DG & UPS capacities, and short-circuit calculations for Electrical systems
- Conduct electrical load analysis to evaluate the flexibility and mechanical integrity of electrical systems, including cables, conduits, and supports

- Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with industry codes and standards, such as IEC,IS,BS, NEC, IEEE, etc., and local regulations
- Continuously maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to electrical engineering

- Co-ordinate with mechanical,plumping,firefighting, and instrumentation engineers to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project design
- Engage with contractors and vendors to manage electrical design reviews, procurement processes, and the preparation of installation drawings
- Collaborate with CAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling) engineers to produce detailed electrical design drawings and 3D models.

- Prepare detailed project progress reports, technical documents, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date and records of electrical designs, material certifications, inspection reports, and other relevant project documentation

- Assist CAD/BIM engineers in creating standardized libraries, templates, and 3D models for electrical systems
- Continuous knowledge enhancement and stay updated on the latest electrical technologies, industry standards, and regulatory standards
