Job Description
Job Title: Extruder Operator – PVC Door Manufacturing
Location: Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu
- Qualification & Experience: ITI / Diploma in plastic technology
Salary: Minimum gross 20 K PM to maximum gross up to 40 K PM
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Extruder Operator to handle and monitor PVC extrusion machines used in the production of PVC doors. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining product quality, and minimizing downtime.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor PVC extrusion machines for door profile production
- Set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) as per production requirements
- Ensure consistent product quality and dimensional accuracy
- Perform die setting, calibration, and changeovers
- Monitor raw material feeding and mixing
- Identify and troubleshoot process or machine issues
- Maintain production records and daily reports
- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
- Follow safety and quality standards on the shop floor
- Technical RequirementsHands-on experience with PVC extrusion machines
- Knowledge of temperature control, cooling systems, and die maintenance
- Basic understanding of Pneumatic and Electrical systems
- Familiarity with PVC door profile manufacturing process
- Qualifications & ExperienceITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Extruder Operator in PVC doors/profiles/pipes manufacturing
- Experience in handling extrusion line independently preferred
- Ability to work in shifts
- Preferred Profile : Experience in PVC door/profile manufacturing industry
- Ability to handle production targets with minimal supervision
