Job Description: Manpower Field Supervisor

Reports to: Operations Manager


Employment Type: Full-time


Role Summary


As a Manpower Field Supervisor, you will be the primary point of contact and operational lead for our workforce deployed at client locations. Your role is critical in ensuring the seamless deployment of manpower, maintaining high productivity levels, and ensuring that our outsourced personnel adhere to the client’s operational standards, safety protocols, and attendance requirements. You act as the bridge between Randeons and the client, ensuring smooth daily operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • 1. Operational Oversight & Manpower ManagementShift Management: Monitor daily shift attendance and ensure all stations are fully staffed according to the client’s production requirements.


  • Attendance Tracking: Accurately record and update daily attendance, leave, and shift data in our systems.


  • Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit daily reports on manpower strength, attendance, and shift-wise performance to both the client management and the Randeons operations team.


  • Crisis Management: Swiftly handle absenteeism, sudden staff shortages, or emergency leave situations by coordinating with the internal recruitment team to deploy replacements.


  • 2. Workforce Supervision & DisciplineOn-Site Supervision: Conduct regular shop floor visits to monitor worker discipline, performance, and adherence to company policies.


  • Grievance Handling: Act as the first level of support for contract staff and trainees, addressing queries, grievances, or conflicts efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to production.


  • On-the-Job Support: Facilitate the induction process for new recruits, ensuring they understand their tasks, safety protocols, and workplace ethics.


  • 3. Client Liaison & ComplianceClient Relationship: Maintain a positive, professional relationship with client supervisors and HR departments.


  • Compliance Enforcement: Ensure that all deployed manpower follows the client’s safety guidelines, wears required PPE, and follows site-specific operational rules.


  • Performance Monitoring: Identify performance gaps in the workforce and provide immediate corrective feedback or on-site coaching.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in shop floor supervision, manpower management, or as a Shift/HR Supervisor in a manufacturing, logistics, or facility management environment.


  • Education: Diploma or Graduate degree (preferred, but equivalent experience in industrial operations will be considered).


  • Communication: Fluent in the local language and comfortable communicating with diverse groups of workers and factory management.


  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) for daily reporting.


  • Ability to interpret shift schedules and production plans.


  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high adaptability to fluctuating business demands, and the ability to work in rotational shifts.


  • Attitude: You must be proactive, disciplined, and comfortable working on the shop floor rather than an office desk.
