Job Description

Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Perform precision fitting, assembly, and installation of mechanical components

Carry out advanced operations: drilling, tapping, reaming, grinding, and alignment

Independently handle assembly and dismantling of machinery and equipment

Ensure proper tolerances, clearances, and dimensional accuracy

Use precision measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, dial gauge, height gauge)

Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions

Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems (basic to intermediate)

Ensure adherence to safety standards and workplace compliance

Guide and support junior fitters or trainees

Maintain job records, checklists, and maintenance logs

Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations

Follow 5S and workplace organization practices
