Fitter Technician

A Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand how parts should be assembled.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal parts using hand tools and machines.
• Assemble machine components such as shafts, gears, bearings, and pipes.
• Install machinery and mechanical equipment in factories or work sites.
• Inspect machines and equipment to identify faults or wear.
• Repair or replace damaged components to ensure machines work properly.
• Use tools and measuring instruments like spanners, drills, vernier calipers, and micrometers.
• Follow safety procedures while working with tools and machines.
