Job Description
Role: Senior Executive
Location: Guindy
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate full container load (FCL) shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers to streamline freight operations.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance papers.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues affecting transportation timelines.
- Implement compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate closely with warehousing and inventory teams to synchronize inbound and outbound logistics.
- Analyze freight costs and negotiate rates with carriers to optimize transportation expenditure.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, transport schedules, and freight forwarding transactions.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve freight forwarding efficiency and transportation workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years experience in freight forwarding, specifically managing full container load (FCL) shipments.
- Extensive knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations and their interface with transportation logistics.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
