Job Description:

Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and analytically driven Sourcing & Supply Chain Intern from an engineering background to join our procurement and supply chain team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain processes in a global manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Help prepare and maintain purchase orders, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and procurement trackers
• Assist in supplier communication and follow-up on delivery timelines
• Support cost analysis and comparison of vendor quotations
• Help maintain and update supplier databases and sourcing records
• Assist in inventory tracking and stock reconciliation activities
• Coordinate with internal teams such as design, production, and quality for material requirements
• Assist in preparing MIS reports and dashboards related to procurement and supply chain activities

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering from a recognised institution
• Basic understanding of supply chain concepts, procurement processes, and vendor management
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and BOM structures is an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office — Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
