Inside Sales Engineer

Your responsibilities

Responsible for proactively assisting Sales Engineers:

  • •    Read and comprehend customer enquiries.
    •    Interpret customer's RFQ and project specifications.
    •    Prepare Pumps, Hydrocyclones and Valves techno-commercial proposals globally.
    •    Product Selection & Equipment Sizing based on the customer requirement.
    •    Estimation.
    •    To support the Engineering Team with the development of the cost, customers and supplier databases, pricelist, and libraries.
    •    To carry out regular proposal follow up's using/updating and maintaining the Proposal Logs and ISS tool.
    •    To clarify subsequent purchase order receipt and to prepare detailed order handover documentation in a timely manner for contract engineering to execute the contract.
    •    Work closely with vendors/supplier to provide an optimum solution.
    •    Technical Guidance, Team Motivation & support team on their day-to-day activities.
    •    Review and evaluation of vendor offer.    

Interact with engineering to provide cost estimates for complete units to the Regional Sales people.

Coordinate with our internal contract specialist with commercial terms and conditions as needed

Aid Regional Sales people with equipment selection form and kickoff forms as needed.

Support customer service with customer needs that require technical assistance and scheduling of unit orders

Ability to travel domestically which shall be limited to 1-3 trips per year of 3–5-day duration

What you bring

Must be a graduate of Engineering course preferably, Mechanical, or Chemical graduate.

•    Proposal management support within sales as back-office function
•    Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.
•    Supports with administration of deliveries.
•    Coordinates review and edit proposal input.
•    May have engineering expertise.
•    May deliver cost estimates of products.
•    May estimate current material costs.

. Ability to apply knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports

. Ability to apply knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs
