Lead DevOps Engineer responsible for automating, deploying, and operating enterprise systems across cloud environments. Works across software engineering, infrastructure, and security to build scalable CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions. Owns end-to-end Devops lifecycle from development to production support. Handles complex, high-visibility initiatives requiring multi-domain expertise. Ensures reliability, performance, and standardization of DevOps practices.

Duties and Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following.

• Create and manage the cloud infrastructure in Cloud.
• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Automate deployments across AWS and on-prem environments
• Maintain and support Linux and Windows infrastructure services
• Orchestrate cloud-based application and infrastructure deployments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance
• Implement configuration management and automated deployments
• Ensure production readiness and release quality
• Collaborate with development teams for solution design from Devops perspective 
  

Primary Duties :

• Build scalable DevOps solutions aligned to business needs
• Integrate systems across platforms and services
• Standardize DevOps processes, best practices, and runbooks
• Drive capacity planning and risk mitigation strategies
• Implement monitoring and observability (ELK stack)
• Develop automation scripts/frameworks for effective Infra setup and deployments
• Support release management and production transitions
• Document architectures, deployments, and processes
• Ensure security integration across DevOps lifecycle

Education And/Or Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• 10–12 years in DevOps or IT Infrastructure
• Strong AWS cloud experience
• Hands-on IaC experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity)
• Expertise in configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
• Strong Linux and Windows infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting skills (Python, Ruby, PowerShell, JavaScript)
• Experience with ELK stack
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON
• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Additional Preferred Skills

• AWS Associate or Professional certification
• Exposure to security domains (IAM, AD, ADFS, cryptography)
• Experience in SAFe Agile Development Practices
