Manager – Order Management
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Lead the Order engineering, Order administration, Drafting and Documentation functions
Monitor the day-to-day functioning of the Order Engineering function by reviewing the backlog with the team leaders and assigning work to the respective teams depending on their current workload. Work with the teams, AP OM leadership and the functional head to meet occasional surges through internal and external actions.
- Give proper guidance to the Order Administration function to ensure that order booking is on track to meet the POR provided by the Sales team. Support the team to remove roadblocks on order entry by working with Sales, Application Engineering and IT.
- Ensure that the drafting team is able to provide the output in line with requirements of customers and provide support when special requirements are raised by customers, PM or CS. Coordinate with external contractor to ensure that the quality of the drafting engineers is monitored while ensuring that any capacity additions are addressed on time.
- Guide the documentation team to ensure that the invoice and final documentation are submitted as per KRA and support them in coordinating with other departments and external agencies in the preparation of final documentation.
- Provide guidance to the team working on change order management as well as IBR design file preparation by working with internal and external teams including EIC, Pune
Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports to functional leader on team performance.
Set up KRAs for each of the team members in consultation with the respective team leaders and monitor their performance. Provide support to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions for issues.
Assess the performance of his/her reportees and provide regular performance feedback.
- Training and development of the team as well as developing succession plan for key positions.
Implement automation and drive continuous improvement actions to improve productivity and efficiency.

Excellent managerial skills with an aptitude to drive a large team towards goals and ensuring that their challenges are addressed on time.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good collaborative skills to work with other departments and Emerson functions outside the company to ensure that the requirements of the team and the enterprise are met
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree in the following engineering disciplines - Mechanical/Chemical/ Instrumentation or related discipline.
Knowledge and experience of minimum 12 years in Control Valve industry.
Excellent communication, people management and problem-solving skills is mandatory
