Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in JDA 2017 Space Planning Suite (Planogram & Floor Planning) and application support. The ideal candidate will lead L2/L3 support activities, drive issue resolution, manage stakeholder communication, and provide technical leadership across retail space management applications and associated technologies.
- Total Experience : 6 years to 8 years
- Location : Chennai (Siruseri)
- Mode of work : Hybrid (3 days to office every week)
- Shift Timing : UK Shift
6+ years of experience in application support and software development.
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting JDA Planogram and Floor Planning applications.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead L2 and L3 support for JDA 2017 Space Planning applications including:
- Planogram Generator
- Planogram Automation
- Floor Planning
- Space Planning modules
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues within SLA.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
- Coordinate with business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Support application deployments, releases, and environment management.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues.
- Develop and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in on-call support and critical incident management when required.
Technical Skills Required
Mandatory Skills: JDA Space Planning
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- JDA 2017 Planogram
- Floor Planning
- Space Planning applications
- Deep understanding of retail merchandising and space management processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting application, data, and integration issues.
Microsoft Technologies
- Strong experience in:
- C# /.NET Framework
- ASP.NET applications
- Web Services/APIs
- Ability to analyze and debug application code.
Database & ETL
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Stored Procedures
- Performance Tuning
- Query Optimization
- Database Design
- Strong experience in:
- SSIS package development and support
- ETL troubleshooting and monitoring
- Experience with:
- SSRS report development and support
Preferred Skills
- Experience in retail domain applications.
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience with batch scheduling tools and automation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control systems.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Leadership Expectations
- Act as the technical owner for supported applications.
- Drive service improvements and operational excellence.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders and business users.
- Lead technical discussions, solution design reviews, and support governance meetings.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to support and development team members.
