Packing Operator

Key Responsibilities:

·        Operate and monitor conveyor-based packing systems for welding rods.

·        Load welding rods onto the conveyor and ensure smooth flow without jams or damage.

·        Perform counting, bundling, and carton packing as per standard packing specifications.

·        Conduct visual quality checks for surface finish, cracks, coating issues, or size variation.

·        Label, seal, and stack finished cartons as per standard guidelines (batch, date, grade, size).

·        Ensure correct packing quantity (e.g., pieces per bundle/per box/per carton).

·        Maintain 5S standards

·        Report equipment faults to maintenance or supervisor.

·        Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.

·        Complete daily production reports and packing documentation.

Skills & Competencies Required:

·        Ability to operate conveyor and packing machinery.

·        Basic counting and measurement skills.

·        Basic material handling knowledge.

·        Good attention to quality and detail.

·        Physical stamina for repetitive/continuous packing operations.
