Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, your day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. You focus on aligning business and functional insights to craft comprehensive testing strategies, while overseeing the implementation of quality processes and methodologies. Your role includes defining and tracking key performance metrics to monitor testing activities, manage test execution, and facilitate timely defect resolution, all aimed at maintaining the integrity and reliability of the software product.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality processes within the development lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Assist junior professionals in understanding project goals and quality standards to support their development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
