Retail Sales Executive

Chennai Grocers is hiring retail sales staff for both our stores — Poes Garden and Phoenix, Velachery.

We are a gourmet grocery brand with over 11,000 products and 330–400 customers a day. Our customers expect a certain standard, and our staff are the reason they come back. You will spend your day on the floor helping people find what they need, keeping your section full and correct, and knowing our products well enough to make a real recommendation.

This is a fixed salary job. No sales targets, no commission pressure.

What you will do

• Help customers find products and answer their questions confidently
• Keep your section stocked, clean and correctly placed
• Learn our product range so you can recommend and cross-sell naturally
• Pack orders and support billing during busy hours
• Flag stock that is running out or nearing expiry

What we are looking for

• At least 6 months working in a store, supermarket or showroom
• Good spoken English — you will serve customers who expect it
• Tamil/Hindi also required
• 12th pass or above
• Someone who stays calm and polite when the store is full
