Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive sales in home furnishing products such as curtains, upholstery, blinds, wallpapers, carpets, and décor items. The ideal candidate should have a passion for interiors and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting suitable home furnishing products based on their needs and preferences
- Provide product knowledge on fabrics, materials, designs, and pricing
- Generate leads and convert walk-in customers into sales
- Maintain showroom presentation and product displays
- Handle billing, quotations, and order processing
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for stock availability
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in retail sales (preferably home furnishing/interiors)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of fabrics, interior design, or décor trends (preferred)
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide solutions
- Good negotiation and closing skills
- Basic computer knowledge (billing, Excel, POS systems)
