Job Description:

Position Overview

The main purpose of this role is to oversee the cybersecurity posture of all ESAB computing assets. This includes on-premise, cloud based, and  SAAS solutions where applicable. Staying informed on new software vulnerabilities, and active exploits is key to success in the role.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee Team members and third parties to effectively deliver best in class TVM capabilities to ESAB.
• Montor and institutionalize the use of third party intelligence sources such as the CISA KEV, and other available vulnerability and exploit insights to constantly be aware of emerging threats to ESAB assets.
• Alert  leadership to emerging high risk vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and zero day threats.
• Ensure effective processes and tooling is in place to monitor ESAB assets for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning for all ESAB assets.
• Work with Stakeholders to ensure asset management and vulnerability tool capabilities and coverage is effective and regularly updated.
• Provide regular reports of vulnerability and patching disposition to asset owners and leadership.
• Work with TVM resources and asset owners to ensure appropriate responses to vulnerabilities and zero days are coordinated and completed according to Policies.

Qualifications

       Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in information technology

       Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years in threat and vulnerability management (TVM) with deep understanding of IT operating systems, applications and vulnerability management.
• Experience with IT and Cloud infrastructure.
• Team oversight and development.
• Good communications skills and ability to effectively work cross functionally.
• Project Management skills a plus.
