Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business growth. They will lead and mentor the sales team, establish strong relationships with key customers, and identify new market opportunities to expand revenue.

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market expansion targets.

·        Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance.

·        Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.

·        Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.

·        Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts.

·        Drive negotiations, close high-value deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.

·        Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

·        Experience in air pollution control equipment sales (if applicable).

Qualifications & Requirements:

o  Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical) Or An MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is highly preferred. Two to four years of related product or sales experience required.

o  Experience: Minimum 6+ years in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. Experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing.

o  Proven Track Record: Strong history of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

o  Strategic Thinking: Experience in market analysis, business development, and sales strategy execution.

o  Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required for business development and client meetings.

o  Leadership Skills: Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
