Job Description
Inside Sales Executive (Hindi & English Mandatory)
Location: Porur, Chennai
Job Type: Full-Time (Work from Office)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Salary:
₹22,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience)
Performance Incentives
- Average Incentive: ₹8,000 – ₹15,000/month
- High Performers can earn ₹20,000 – ₹30,000+ per month

We are a fast-growing manufacturing and e-commerce company serving customers across India. We receive enquiries through IndiaMART, WhatsApp, social media, websites, and other digital platforms. We are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Executive who can build customer relationships, convert enquiries into orders, and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Job Summary
This is an Inside Sales role where you will manage inbound customer enquiries received through WhatsApp, IndiaMART, phone calls, social media, and other online platforms.
You will understand customer requirements, explain products, provide quotations, follow up consistently, and convert enquiries into successful sales.
This is not a field sales role.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Sales:
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries received through WhatsApp, IndiaMART, phone calls, social media, website, and email.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
- Explain product features, pricing, offers, and benefits clearly.
- Build trust and maintain professional customer relationships.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Handle customer objections confidently and professionally.
- Follow up with prospective customers until the sale is closed.
- Generate repeat business from existing customers.
Lead Management:
- Manage daily inbound leads efficiently.
- Ensure every enquiry receives a timely response.
- Maintain proper follow-up schedules.
- Update enquiry status and customer details accurately.
- Ensure no lead is missed.
Customer Experience:
- Deliver excellent service before and after the sale.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding order processing and dispatch.
- Keep customers informed throughout the order process.
- Resolve customer queries professionally.
Sales Reporting:
- Maintain daily sales records.
- Submit daily activity reports.
- Track conversions, pending enquiries, follow-ups, and revenue.
- Share customer feedback and market insights with the management team.
Required Skills
- Languages: Hindi – Mandatory
- English – Mandatory
- Tamil – Preferred
- Knowledge of additional regional languages is an added advantage.
Communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to build customer confidence.
Sales Skills
- Good negotiation skills.
- Strong persuasion and closing ability.

Computer Skills:
- Comfortable using WhatsApp Business.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Gmail, and computers.
- Ability to learn CRM software quickly.
- Experience handling IndiaMART enquiries is an added advantage.
