Job Title: Field Sales Executive (Dairy Products)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Focus Areas: Villivakkam, surrounding neighbourhoods, and key trade zones)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and persuasive Field Sales Executive to expand our dairy footprint. You will visit local Kirana shops and convince shop owners to stock and sell our dairy products. Your goal is to maximize brand visibility, drive secondary sales, and ensure our products are the first choice for daily consumers.

Key Responsibilities

• Outlet Visits: Conduct daily visits to assigned Kirana shops, grocery stores, and local markets.
• Retailer Persuasion: Educate shop owners on profit margins, product shelf-life, and consumer demand to convince them to carry our dairy line (milk, curd, paneer, butter, etc.).
• Order Generation: Book daily orders from retailers and ensure smooth delivery coordination with our distribution team.
• Merchandising & Visibility: Place promotional materials (posters, danglers) and set up product displays effectively to attract shop visitors.
• Stock Management: Check for product freshness and replace/return near-expiry items to maintain quality standards.
• Payments & Collections: Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding balances from retailers.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, and provide regular market feedback to the sales manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, dairy, or food and beverage sectors.
• Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local geography (Chennai) and existing relationships with Kirana/general trade networks are preferred.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Transportation: Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and a reliable vehicle.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience)
