Job Description
Short-term contract of 3 to 4 months
The Site Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring all demolition activities at project sites to ensure safe, timely, and efficient execution. The role also includes tracking the movement of assets from dismantling through dispatch, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring complete accountability of materials throughout the demolition process.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day demolition/Dismantling activities at assigned project sites.
- Ensure demolition/Dismantling work is executed in accordance with approved work plans, project schedules, and statutory safety requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and site productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Ensure mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.
- Track the movement of assets from dismantling to storage, loading, dispatch, and final delivery to ensure complete traceability and accountability.
- Verify asset quantities against approved inventory/BOQ and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages immediately.
- Maintain records of asset movement, dispatch details, gate passes, weighment records, delivery acknowledgements, and other related documentation.
- Coordinate with logistics teams, transporters, warehouse personnel, and customers to facilitate smooth asset movement.
- Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) covering demolition progress, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, asset movement, dispatch status, safety observations, and site photographs.
- Identify operational risks, safety concerns, and project delays, and recommend corrective actions.
- Report site incidents, near misses, accidents, and non-conformities promptly and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure demolition waste is segregated, handled, and disposed of in compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Verify completion of work against project milestones, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation measures.
