Job Description

We are seeking a Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate PNG pipeline installation and associated civil works at project sites. The role involves close coordination with clients, contractors, safety teams, and third-party inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pipeline laying, trenching, and backfilling activities at the site
• Ensure material availability and adherence to safety standards
• Coordinate with client engineers and Third-Party Inspectors (TPI)
• Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) for laying, plumbing, and civil works
• Ensure all DPRs are reviewed, signed, and sealed by the TPI
• Supervise civil and plumbing works and document progress accurately
• Assign tasks to contractors in coordination with the GAC In-charge
• Ensure labor completes laying and backfilling on the same day as per the plan
• Plan site activities to optimize manpower and meet project deadlines
• Coordinate with the store in-charge for timely material availability
• Assist the Safety Officer in maintaining safety compliance at the site

Requirements

• B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• 0–2 years of site execution or infrastructure project experience
• Basic knowledge of pipeline laying, civil works, and site coordination
• Ability to prepare DPRs and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Willingness to work at project sites
