About the Company
Auro Pet Management Services Pvt. Ltd. is building Beanies, a growing pet food and pet care brand focused on creating high-quality, trustworthy, and relatable products for dogs and cats. As we expand our presence across Chennai and beyond, we are looking for a creative and responsible Social Media Manager to help shape the brand’s voice, build community, and drive awareness across digital platforms.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can manage, create, and grow Beanies’ online presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. The ideal candidate should understand content trends, pet parent behaviour, reels, influencer collaborations, community engagement, and brand storytelling.
This role requires someone who is creative, organised, proactive, and comfortable working with a growing brand where ideas need to be executed quickly and tastefully.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day social media presence of Beanies across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar with posts, reels, stories, campaigns, and engagement ideas.
- Create, coordinate, and publish engaging content around pet food, pet care, product awareness, retail presence, customer stories, and brand campaigns.
- Work closely with the founder/team to understand brand direction, product launches, campaign ideas, and marketing priorities.
- Coordinate photoshoots, video shoots, reels, product content, influencer content, and behind-the-scenes brand material.
- Write captions, hooks, story content, reel scripts, and basic campaign copy in a tone that feels warm, trustworthy, and brand-appropriate.
- Monitor comments, DMs, customer queries, and community engagement in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and coordinate with pet influencers, creators, vets, trainers, groomers, pet cafés, and relevant collaborators.
- Track social media performance including reach, engagement, follower growth, reel views, saves, shares, and campaign performance.
- Stay updated on content trends, pet industry trends, social media formats, and competitor activity.
- Support offline marketing activities by creating digital content around store visits, distributor activity, events, sampling, and customer feedback.
- Work with designers, photographers, editors, agencies, or freelancers when required.
- Ensure all content is aligned with brand values, product positioning, and professional communication standards.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or brand communication.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Stories, content formats, captions, trends, and engagement strategies.
- Good writing skills in English. Tamil knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to create simple content ideas and coordinate execution independently.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Meta Business Suite, Instagram analytics, and content scheduling tools.
- Comfortable with shooting basic phone content when required.
- Interest in pets, pet food, pet parenting, or lifestyle brands is preferred.
- Good coordination skills with internal teams, influencers, vendors, and agencies.
- Must be organised, responsive, and consistent with execution.
Preferred Skills
- Basic reel editing skills.
- Experience handling influencer collaborations.
- Understanding of paid promotions and performance marketing basics.
- Ability to convert offline activity into strong digital content.
- Comfort with visiting pet stores, events, shoots, and campaign locations when needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys social media, understands how brands grow online, and can bring fresh ideas without losing consistency. They should be able to balance creativity with discipline and help make Beanies feel like a warm, trustworthy, and memorable pet brand.
