Software Engineer

As a Spring Boot Java Developer, you will be a hands-on contributor to the development, implementation, and modernization of our variable marketing incentive systems. You will play a key role in building a complex microservices ecosystem based on MACH architecture principles, focusing on high-quality code, robust solutions, and modern software engineering practices.

Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE/Spring framework/Spring boot
Actively participate in modernizing variable marketing incentive products and experiences to significantly improve Ford’s current capabilities and ensure these platforms can grow to meet increasing demands.
Contribute to the design, development, and evolution of one or more modules (Microservices) within the variable marketing incentive products.
Design, build, and implement Proofs of Concept (POCs) using cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to constructing, deploying highly scalable and robust cloud-based intelligent solutions.
Implement and maintain backend Spring Boot microservices on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring adherence to API design specifications.
Apply modern software engineering practices (i.e., TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Shift left, 12-factor applications, etc.) in daily development.
Collaborate with other development teams and architects to ensure seamless integration with existing Ford software products and external cloud-based services.
