Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Reinforcement :
WorkRead and interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules, and specifications.
Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars and mesh.
Fix and tie reinforcement bars using hand tools and tying wire.
Install rebar cages, columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and other reinforced concrete structures.
Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and positioning of reinforcement as per drawings.
Quality & Safety:
Inspect reinforcement work before concrete pouring.
Follow site safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Maintain quality standards and ensure work accuracy.
Report any discrepancies in drawings or materials to the supervisor.
Site Operations:
Handle and move reinforcement materials safely.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
