Store Assistant

Job description:

We are looking for a dedicated and physically active Stores Assistant to manage inventory, packing, and dispatch operations. The role involves handling materials, coordinating shipments, and supporting store activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain store items in proper locations for easy access
• Handle packing of machines and spares (wooden/cardboard)
• Manage loading and unloading using cranes/tools
• Coordinate with transport agencies for dispatch
• Support local purchases and assist the purchase team

Requirements:

• 10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma (Mechanical preferred)
• 0–2 years experience (Freshers with knowledge can apply)
• Experience in warehouse/store or logistics environment

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of heavy material handling and inventory placement
• Understanding of industrial packing methods
• Ability to handle inward/outward documentation
• Physically fit and active

Preferred Skills:

• Two-wheeler with valid license
• Basic knowledge of parts identification
• Experience in heavy material handling and proper inventory placement
• Knowledge of industrial packing methods (cardboard and wooden crate packing)
• Ability to operate internal cranes for loading and unloading materials
• Basic understanding of inward and outward documentation
