Job Description
Role Purpose Manage daily farm activities, supervise staff, monitor ponds & filtration systems, ensure fish health, maintain cleanliness, and report operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Coordination
- Assign daily work to farm workers
- Monitor task completion and discipline
- Ensure feeding schedules are followed correctly
- Maintain farm cleanliness standards
- Report attendance and performance issues
Pond & Fish Monitoring
- Inspect all ponds twice daily
- Identify fish health issues early
- Monitor quarantine tanks
- Check aeration systems
- Observe abnormal fish behaviour
Filtration System Monitoring
- Inspect pumps, UV filters, air blowers
- Identify blockages or flow issues
- Coordinate repairs with technicians/staff
- Ensure uninterrupted filtration operation
Stock Control
- Monitor fish movement between ponds
- Track feed usage
- Track medicines & consumables
- Maintain filtration media inventory
Reporting
- Send daily WhatsApp report with:
- pond status
- fish health alerts
- equipment issues
- staff performance updates
Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience supervising workers (farm / warehouse / workshop / aquaculture preferred)
- Basic English communication
- Comfortable using smartphone daily
- Responsible and observant personality
- Ability to identify technical issues quickly
