Technology Platform Engineer

Project Role : Technology Platform Engineer
Project Role Description : Creates production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools such as a platform for a project or product. Deploys the automation pipeline and automates environment creation and configuration.
Must have skills : Trade Lifecycle Management
Good to have skills : MySQL
Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and setting up both production and non-production cloud environments tailored to project or product needs. This role includes deploying automation pipelines and streamlining the creation and configuration of environments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to maintain and enhance platform stability and performance, while adapting to evolving project requirements and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices for environment setup and automation to improve efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of platform capabilities with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Trade Lifecycle Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with MySQL.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and environment provisioning tools.
- Experience in deploying and managing automation pipelines for environment configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform deployment and environment stability.
- Familiarity with scripting and configuration management to support automation efforts.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Lifecycle Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
