Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary:
Internal AppSec team, working closely with product teams, InfoSec, and other stakeholders to ensure
secure product design and development. You will lead threat modeling activities, contribute to making our AppSec requirements and processes more meaningful, practical, and effective for our engineering teams, support the integration of our SSDLC, drive secure AI adoption across development teams, and help scale our global AppSec program.


Roles & Responsibilities:
- You partner with product teams across the entire development lifecycle to embed security into the
software development process and strengthening security of product architectures.
- You champion security initiatives, actively enhance AppSec requirements and guidelines, and effectively promote their adoption across teams.
- You drive secure AI adoption in development by guiding developers on secure AI-assisted coding, advancing security skills, contributing to AI-driven AppSec workflows, and assessing threats to AI and agentic-AI systems.
- You conduct and lead threat modeling sessions, security design reviews, and identify risk across services and platforms.
- You help define and evolve our global AppSec strategy, contribute policies, processes, best practices, roadmaps, and KPIs
- You support the development and rollout of a security champions program to build security awareness and capabilities within our product engineering.
- You organize and conduct workshops, trainings, and knowledge-sharing sessions for developers and other technical stakeholders.
- You mentor (junior) AppSec engineers and actively contribute to the growth and development of our internal AppSec team.
- You collaborate on the evaluation and implementation of new AppSec tools and services.
- You stay up-to-date on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations across various tech stacks.


Professional & Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in application security.
- Solid understanding of secure software architecture, secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC)
practices, including threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE
- Strong interest in AI and AI security, ideally with some hands-on exposure to applying secure development practices or assessing risks in AI/GenAI systems.
- Practical software development experience in modern environments.
- Understanding of cloud architectures, with exposure to AWS being beneficial.
- Familiarity with common AppSec tools, such as SAST, and SCA.
- Exposure to Gen AI in a security context is an advantage
- A collaborative mindset – you enjoy working with international, cross-functional teams and driving alignment across stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Application security Architecture and design.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
